A youth festival typically celebrates the talents, creativity, and energy of young people. It often includes diverse activities such as music performances, art exhibitions, sports competitions, and cultural showcases. These events aim to provide a platform for youth to express themselves, connect with others, and foster a sense of community. Planning and participation in such festivals can contribute to personal development, skill-building, and the promotion of a vibrant youth culture.

# KALA-YATRA #
First day was about Kala-yatra. It was on 2nd November. This year our Students of Department of English, MKBU also Participated in this event and we gave our best. This Year we go with the theme of "Oppression to Freedom".
2nd major theme was Chandrayan 3.
It was also wonderful.
And another theme was 'The contribution of Rural Women in Women's development.'
# OPRESSION TO FREEDOM #
(On which we performed in kalayatra)
On importance of this theme we can say that...
Throughout history, women have faced a relentless struggle against various forms of oppression, hindering their path to freedom. From systemic inequalities to cultural norms that limit their autonomy, the journey towards emancipation has been arduous. In many societies, women have been subjected to discriminatory laws, unequal pay, and limited access to education and employment opportunities. However, amidst these challenges, women have continually risen, breaking societal barriers and advocating for their rights. The fight for gender equality is an ongoing narrative where women assert their agency, demanding recognition and dismantling oppressive structures. As women challenge traditional roles and stereotypes, the trajectory towards freedom gains momentum, propelled by resilience, solidarity, and the unwavering belief in the inherent right to live free from oppression.

On November 3rd, a meticulously orchestrated gathering unfolded, graced by notable figures such as M.M. Trivedi, Sagardan Gadhvi, Hetal Mehta, Ami Upadhyay, and Bhartiben Shiyal. The event's seamless execution was the result of the adept hosting by two students, infusing the atmosphere with vibrancy.
Sagardan Gadhvi elevated the occasion with a melodious performance, introducing a musical facet. The Kalarpan dance academy Group added to the cultural mosaic with a Stuti presentation themed around Narivandana, featuring poignant renditions of "Jay Jay Jag Janni Devi" and "Aygiri Nandini," captivating the audience. Noteworthy was the exchange of insights by guests on the significance of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, underscoring the imperative of holistic student development, contributing to a comprehensive and enlightening event.

∆ POETRY WRITING ∆
I had the privilege of immersing myself in the vibrant world of poetry at a competition hosted by the English Department. The event unfolded as a tapestry of creative expression, woven by a cadre of emerging poets whose works showcased diversity and innovation.
Guiding this poetic odyssey were three esteemed judges: Parul Khakhar, Snehi Parmar, and Ketan Kanpariya, literary luminaries whose pens have left an indelible mark on their respective eras. Their roles as judges added an extra layer of expertise, transforming the competition into a profound exploration of poetic artistry.
Parul Khakhar, Snehi Parmar, and Ketan Kanpariya, distinguished writers themselves, brought a wealth of literary insight to the judging panel. Their discerning eyes and deep appreciation for the written word undoubtedly contributed to the recognition and celebration of the creative endeavors of the emerging poets.
In the presence of such literary giants, the poetry competition transcended being a mere showcase of emerging talents. It evolved into an invaluable platform where the art of words was not only displayed but also appraised and honored by those who have carved their own paths in the realm of creative writing. Among the participants from our department, Upasana contributed to this enriching experience.

∆ QUIZ COMPETITION ∆
Quiz competitions are exhilarating events that test participants' knowledge across a spectrum of subjects. These intellectually stimulating contests often bring together individuals or teams to compete in a friendly yet challenging environment. Participants must draw upon their breadth of knowledge to answer a diverse range of questions, covering topics from science and history to pop culture and current affairs. Quiz competitions not only foster a spirit of healthy competition but also encourage continuous learning and curiosity. They provide a platform for individuals to showcase their intellectual prowess and quick thinking, making them a popular and engaging activity in educational institutions, workplaces, and community events. From English department Bhumiba Gohil, Akash Chavda and Kusum Sarvaiya have participated in quiz competition.
∆ ELOCUTION COMPETITION ∆
In the vibrant arena of the elocution competition, words become powerful instruments, wielded with eloquence and precision. Each participant steps onto the stage armed not with physical prowess, but with the artistry of language. The air is charged with anticipation as voices resonate, weaving narratives that captivate, persuade, and inspire. From the measured cadence of delivery to the nuanced choice of words, competitors strive to convey not just information but emotion. The audience becomes both judge and jury, evaluating not only the content of speeches but also the ability to command attention and leave an indelible impact. In this eloquent battleground, the spoken word emerges as a force that transcends mere expression, showcasing the profound influence of articulate communication.
